WFFC Announces 2013 Fall Seminar - “Navigating Today’s Supply Chain”

NEPTUNE, NJ         Women in Flavor & Fragrance Commerce is pleased to announce the 2013 Fall Seminar will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at the Saddle Brook Marriott, located at 138 Pehle Avenue, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663-5230.


The seminar will focus on supply chain challenges and regulatory issues throughout the flavor and fragrance industry.  The WFFC has an exciting lineup of speakers.  Under the title “Navigating Today’s Supply Chain,” the discussion topics will include: “Product Development: Then and Now” - Nancy Williams (Vice President, Fragrance and Hygiene Product Development, L’Oreal ); “Fragrance Regulatory and Safety Perspective: A Global View” - Dr. Greg Adamson (Senior Vice President, Givaudan Fragrance); “Effects of a Changing Fragrance Pallet” - Jim Krivda (Senior Perfumer, Vice President, Mane);  “Managing the Flavor Brief – Regulatory Influence on Creative Considerations” - Lorna Hopkinson (Senior Regulatory Manager, IFF Flavor); as well as “Sustainability & Consumer Product Perspectives” - Colin Ringlieb (Senior Director, Flavors for Beverage R&D, PepsiCo).  The presentations will be followed by a Pan-Asian fusion lunch.

The WFFC, Inc. was founded in 1982 by women employed in various capacities in the U.S. flavor and fragrance industry. This organization was borne out of a recognized need for a networking, education and support system for women in our industry. Our mission has been and remains to this day to provide a center of education, camaraderie, support and networking opportunities for women in our industry. Our membership encompasses women involved in sales, purchasing, customer service as well as technical careers.
